Came here for lunch on a weekday and I'll keep coming back. Wife had a spicy rigatoni with sausage, son had a kid's spaghetti, and I had the best chicken parmesan sandwich. The chicken was thick cut, fried perfectly and had the right amount of sauce. It came as a lunch special with a drink for under $20. Service was nice and accommodating for our toddler and I really enjoyed the patio seating.

Combination pizza and a salad on a hot Bakersfield afternoon. Arrived at 3 and spent about an hour having a nice late lunch or early dinner. Service was very good. Atmosphere is family Italian. Ralph's family historical Italian photos adorn most walls. Bright. Airy. High ceilings. Comfortable booths. Clean bathroom. Total cost of meal with tip was $46.00. (We had water for our drinks. It was 115 degrees today. Hottest day of the year in Bakersfield.) Use the wait app on the website to secure a spot in line.

I was in the mood for some Italian, a Italian fare a bit more...better...than Olive Garden. I decided on Frugatti's, of course, I went on a Friday night and was told I could be seated in twenty-five minutes. Seeing as how it was over 100 degrees and cool inside, I decided to wait. NOT twenty-five minutes later, not even close, a time so much shorter, I was seated. The complimenatry bread was delicious and the portion sizes were more than generous! Great wait staff and amazing food! Everyone there was so kind, but Bakersfield for the most part is full of kind people, even when the temperatures soar into the 100's.

First time to the new location and came for my sister's birthday and host seated us promptly. We received drinks and bread quickly! I ordered the passion fruit tea and it delicious and so refreshing on this hot summer day! Definitely recommend! We started with the appetizer platter, and the stuffed mushrooms were my personally favorite. The sausage was seasoned perfectly and the mushrooms were SO delicious! I also loved the spicy chicken bites! I ordered the eggplant parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo lunch special. First and foremost, Frugratti's Alfredo pasta is the BEST in town. A single bite just transformed me to a happy place. The eggplant Parmesan was delicate and crispy and very delicious. I loved that the waiter gave us additional Parmesan cheese over our entrees. The waitress was very sweet and packed up my sister's free birthday dessert to go! The restaurant is so beautifully decorated. I could not stop looking around because there was so much to look at. The chandeliers, the Vespa bar, the grape vine dividers detail! Love love love the new location. Will be back! Thank you for making my sisters birthday a memorable one!

New location but same delicious food that everyone loves! The new location has such an amazing interior decor and even a lovely patio dining area. I also enjoyed the ability to book reservations online. The food was so fresh and deliciously made, the shrimp was cooked to perfection with creamy noodles. Our waitress was very prompt and friendly. So glad their new location is just as amazing as the last!

First time at this new location, although I've been wanting to go since they've opened! The building, the decor is beautiful! I loved the open floor plan! I loved the bar with the vespa....made me think of Luca. Now our portions seemed less than what I remember from the last time we went to Frugattis, but this time, the flavor was on point. There was a great amount of sauce, and I didn't add salt. Our meals also came with a soda! Today's lunch was perfect. Now I want to go during dinner all dressed up!

Had lunch on 04/01/24 at approximately 1115 hours. We were seated immediately without having to wait for a table. The waitstaff was attentive, despite the lunch rush. The food was prepared as ordered and was delicious. They start you off with a warm bread and butter basket. We ordered the basil pesto cheese bread, it was served warm but found it to be a bit oily. My sister and I both ordered the garlic chicken fettuccine and substituted fresh broccoli in place of the red bell peppers. The broccoli was cooked to perfection, not overcooked or mushy. The chicken was breast meat and seasoned perfectly. The Alfredo sauce was good and the dish was served at the appropriate temperature. My dad ordered the meatball lasagna and it was terrific. I would order that next time. The meatballs were moist, tender and cooked perfectly. We shared a dessert. The cheesecake sampler was delicious and perfect for sharing. The lemon ricotta was everyone's favorite. It was topped with candied lemon peel and oh so good. The restrooms were clean and stocked. I definitely recommend Frugatti's and look forward to eating here again.

We were recommended this place as a local favorite by one of the locals. They opened this location 3 months ago and it still smells fresh and new. This is a one of a kind restaurant and is family owned. Ingredients are local. The olive oil is made in Clovis and the tomatoes are from Modesto. All desserts are made in house. We thought we came for an early dinner, but by 5:30 when we arrived the parking lot was filled up. We were worried we would have to wait to be seated, but thankfully they had a table. When we left at 7pm there was a wait. People were sitting in the lobby or waiting outside. I had no idea this town ate so early. The bread they brought to the table was delicious with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar was so fresh and delicious. The menu has a huge variety of dishes. Since they were known for their wood fired ovens we got the applewood smoked bacon, artichoke and Roma tomato pizza. It was very cheesy. When you cut a slice stringy cheese oozed off of it. Just the right amount of bacon, artichoke, and tomatoes. I would order it again. We also shared the house salad. It was plenty for two to have a good size salad. The house creamy garlic Italian dressing was superb. This is the perfect size for two and the dressing was amazing. I'd order this again. The croutons were top notch. I think they are made from their own bread. For dessert we had Grammy's Killer Carrot Cake. It was better than expected. It was homemade carrot cake with pieces of carrots and zucchini. It was very moist and had a delicious cream cheese frosting and topped with crushed pecans. I highly recommend this to anyone that loves carrot cake. It's so moist and the frosting is Devine. The ambiance was very festive. Many people celebrated their birthdays and the staff sang for each of them. The waitress was nice and polite and was helpful in ensuring we had just the right amount of food to eat as we shared both the salad and pizza. We even had 3 extra pieces of pizza to bring home.
